This happened when I lost my mood to meal prep. So I decided to go with the flow and give myself a break.
There is a new chap fan joint. It occupies the space where Caring pharmacy used to be. Poor Caring pharmacy. Locating itself right beside Guardian wasn't such a good idea after all.
|It's the one with red signboard in between Guardian and Country Farm Organics.|
Anway. I noted that this shop provides paper boxes. Wonderful. What's inside?
No rice. Loh Hon Chai, brinjals and marmite chicken (RM6.00). Not bad. The cooking style differs somewhat from the other chap fan stalls.
The next day I went to Tar Chong and was pleasantly surprised that they have ditched styrofoam boxes for these.
They are still plastic and it is best to bring our own containers but Madam was in her lazy mood.
My favorite lemon chicken, kai lan and long beans (RM8.00). Very good.
The following day I went to the one at the coffee shop near Standard Chartered Bank. Again I was pleasantly surprised that they too have ditched styrofoam boxes.
Brinjals, spinach and marmite chicken (RM7.00). Those red cili padi are killers. I think they purposely used this variety so that customers won't take too much chili.
The next day it was back to the one beside Guardian.
Sambal ladies fingers, sweet and sour oink oink and sambal winged beans (RM7.00).
Then on Friday, I repeated one of the above. So no pictures.
I'm back to prepping my own food and let's see how long I can keep up :)
